MIAD, UWM and Other Institutions of Higher Learning
The Haggerty works closely with MIAD, University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and other institutions of higher learning by providing classes, tours and internships, and sharing guest artists. Please contact Lynne Shumow, curator of education, if you are a faculty member from a peer institution and interested in collaborating with the Haggerty. If you are a MIAD student interested in interning at the Haggerty, please email a resume and cover letter that identifies the department you are interested in working with and your goals for an internship to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are a UWM student interested in interning at the Haggerty please submit an application.
Adult and Community Groups
The Haggerty works with adult and community groups to craft unique and meaningful museum experiences that foster lifelong learning and enjoyment of the arts. Free guided tours for adult groups are available Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tours require a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 65 participants. Tours are approximately 50 minutes in duration. All tours must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance. Self-guided tours are also permitted, however, reservations are still needed at least four weeks in advance for groups of more than 10 people. To schedule a tour, please email Mary Ann Bonet at email@example.com
Alumni and Parents
Whether you are dropping your child off at the start of the semester, returning to campus for Homecoming, or the parent of a future Golden Eagle, we encourage you to visit the museum.
