Sara is a third generation Mexican-American and a first-gen college graduate. She received her B.S. in Political Science from Northern Michigan University. Before joining the R&I team, Sara worked on various advocacy and political campaigns in Michigan, Arizona, California and Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and beach days with her husband, and cuddling her cat Huey Lewis and puppy Vito.
