Fall 2023 vocal placement interviews are held by appointment from Aug. 25 to Sept. 12 in the Chapel of the Holy Family in the Alumni Memorial Union (AMU).
What will I be asked to do during the audition?

Where does the Liturgical Choir perform?
The choir sings for the 6 p.m. Sunday Campus Ministry sponsored Masses held each week in the Church of the Gesu. The choir also sings a concert for the Marquette community at the end of each semester.
Are there other activities that the choir is engaged in during the semester?
The choir participates in a retreat (required), and optional outreach opportunities and social gatherings.
I’ve never sung in a choir before. Is this a problem?
Not only is it not a problem, but you are strongly encouraged to join. Liturgical Choir is composed of members with a range of musical experience. Whether you have been singing in choirs for years or this is your first experience, this ensemble is for you!
What if I’m not Catholic?
While the majority of our singers are Catholic, students of varying religious backgrounds have sung in this choir. All are welcome here!
