Website Usability Assistant (Research, Teaching, and Learning)

Pay: $11.00/hour

Work hours: M-F, 10am-4pm

Hours per week: 10-20

Position Description

Short-term student assistant position to audit documentation of library system usage and features, including online tutorials and online instructional materials. Reports to Student Success Librarian. 10-20 hours per week. One month position.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify all digital learning objects of old library system on library webpages.  
• Use web search, LibAnalytics, and LibGuides technologies.  
• Search, run analytics, and manage data.  
• Document characteristics of identified digital learning objects.  
• Other LibGuide cleanup processes, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently  
• Demonstrated ability to complete work on a deadline  
• Ability to communicate project status  
• Possess attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of HTML  
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
